"Uuuuhhhhhhhhhhh sure," he decides. He's never lived with a girl before, aside from his mom. Is it okay for girls and boys to live together? It must be, or they wouldn't have been assigned as roommates.
"Hi Naminé," he greets her again. "Welcome home, I guess!" He looks around the small room, which is already littered with an odd assortment of items. Dirty laundry forms a small pile next to his bed, but it contains only a couple of outfits identical to the one he's wearing now. A half-open desk drawer is filled with dirty coins, bottle caps and a fast food toy. Other items can be found strewn across both desks, Naminé's bed and the floor: a pristine new green backpack, an open package of batteries, empty soda containers, some dishes, a huge chunk of light amethyst that was pulled out of the dirt somewhere, a baseball bat, and various toys and small objects that could easily have come from a trash bin.
"You can put that stuff wherever."
