Grace Is Gone
WHO: Nida Nomura, Some Closed Starters, Otherwise OTA
WHAT: Drinking with Wanda, Missing Persons Announcement, Dangerous habits
WHERE: Wanda's Room, Roof of Dorms
WHEN: August 1st - 7th
WARNINGS: Drinking, Grieving, Possible mentions of death and self-harm.
One Drink To Remember - Closed to Wanda
When he wakes up, bed mostly cold, arms empty, no noise from familiar breathing, his heart aches. This hadn't happened yet, not to someone he knew. Not so far as he knew. Because it definitely hadn't been a year. Not even close. Not even...
Within an hour he's gone to the store and come back, and is knocking on another door in the dorm. Pounding really. He's got a nice tall bottle of vodka, grief in his heart, and someone that needs to know before anyone else. Especially since he couldn't find their information on the network anymore.
Then Another To Forget - OTA
This isn't what he's supposed to do. He knows that. It's not healthy, it's not smart, and it's definitely not what he should be doing, but hey, who needs good life choices? In this case the choice manifests in the form of a young man lying on the edge of the building, a bottle of vodka near at hand, claimed every few minutes for a swig as he stares up at the sky above him.
Is this a risky place to be, especially tipsy? Hell yes. Does Nida care? No. But he does flinch when the door to the roof opens? Yes. Is that possibly bad? Yes.
"Close the door," he'll call, his voice a bit uneven. "You're letting the warm out."
Which he thinks is pretty funny, leaving him chuckling.
Network Post - Audio Only
[Definitely Nida's voice, but also very clearly slurred just enough to imply someone has been drinking. Probably more than he should. Which is any at all.]
For those who would care? Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepherd are gone.
Filtered to Seifer
Yes, I know. You're disappointed and I shouldn't be drinking. Whatever. Can I borrow Eos for a few nights?
[OOC: Nida is going to be in a bad emotional state, and mostly walking through life a bit broken. He's cool to have custom starters for anyone, just directly message me, hit me on plurk
churbooseanon or discord (Churby#4290). I can have something ready rather easily.]

UN: BrokenWings
[A small, humming thoughtful noise.]
More. If there is more, it's not enough.

You might want to stop before that. Or someone may fucking break through your window and throw you in a cold shower. Believe me, that shit sucks.
[Starting the whole process again isn't going to be fun for Nida. He hates that's going to happen to him (or at least he hopes he'll try to dig himself out).]
no subject
[This bottle will stay in hand until someone takes it from him.]
no subject
[Come on, Nida. You are drunk enough.]
no subject
[What is loving yourself? Can you eat it?]
Ain’t got no power. This place has the power.
no subject
Nida, I really think you should sober up enough to go put down a missing person's report.
[Because in this place, he's not seen anyone just disappear. Someone going missing is worth noting.]
I think it should go on record, alright? Then get as drunk as you want to, get thrown in any number of awful cold fuckin' showers you're willing to risk. But you should at least hold it together long enough for that.
no subject
Their mom can report it. And I don’t think I can do steps.
no subject
How about I ask you some questions when you can do steps, alright? While the info's still fresh and you don't have to fuck off down to the police department that way.
[He's scraping the bottom of the cop barrel but he's still cop enough to take a statement.]
no subject
This happened all the time back in the village. People they, they go away. And don't come back.
no subject
And I don't think it's the best idea to just write off people disappearing as nothing here.
[Where there's a totalitarian regime.]

[Losing people for no good damn reason is bullshit.]
no subject
Like what? Getting thrown into cold showers?
[Because he can't think of any regrets he might have other than that.]
no subject
[Less humor in that response, unfortunately. Losing people is losing people. A mess is a hot mess. He's not about to claim authority on what to drink about when he's gotten so many memories of other people's abuse over the past few days. But he does remember Nida trying so damn hard not to drink.]
Are your brothers around?
no subject
[It's okay. They don't need to see him like this. Seifer will find him eventually.]
no subject
[They all seem to have that kind of relationship.]

You're a good guy, you know. You deserve someone buggin' you.

Or is it a thing about you not being a decent guy? What is the complicated part here?
I'm sober right now. I need more whiskey before I can follow drunk guy logic.
no subject
[He bugs Seifer too much.]
no subject
[He doesn't think Connor would be upset if he got drunk for a good cause, so he'll just put it out there.]
If you want a mopey asshole to steal some of your booze before you can get to it, you got my contact info.
no subject
[It's really terrible booze, Hank. REALLY bad.]
no subject
[Hell, he probably doesn't even have tastebuds left.]
Your buddy taught me one of your home card games, too, if you have a deck. Might help you take your mind off things.
Nida is weak to the ‘Square’ button.
Boss went teachin’ huh? Get up here. Gonna beat you so bad.
