[The sprinting on its own is nice. It's movement, action, doing something mindless that will eventually tire him out. It doesn't go long enough but it's a good start. The warehouse reminds him of the ones Premium Foods uses. He's pretty sure theirs is not far off from here, in fact.

He takes a moment to look around while Tidus gets ready, by which he mostly circles in place to take in the room. His focus is slow to return but he's aware enough to look for anything suspicious. Not that he doesn't trust Tidus. They just can't be too careful. If it really is safe, it'll come in handy for storage and shelter.

He drags his eyes back to the other, and rolls his shoulders in a weak shrug. He'll follow whatever. If it's up to him, he'd let himself hurt and bleed more than is safe. He's trying to care but it feels like he's in a pool of jello.]

Magic?

[His jacket is covering most of his spell tattoos but the one on his left hand is visible - a spike shape surrounded by light. And for emphasis he casts it by holding his hand to his forehead. A circle of light appearing around him the same time a spike made of light appears in his hand.]

[ Now that's a joke, joined by a half-tugged grin, unless Squall wants to go ahead and do exactly that. Tidus undoes the latch for his weapon and pulls it out, a heavy flick of his wrist unravelling it from its scissored state into a more full-length blade.

But if Squall's going to use magic, Tidus really is going to use the information to his advantage and raise a hand before his forehead, bringing it down with a fistpump and rays of light encasing him before fading out of sight. ]
