"Yeah, well... Not too long ago there was a break-in, and someone apparently tried to send body doubles of us after us during a big black-out. Don't know what caused it. But I'm pretty sure we shouldn't have body doubles? You know. Call it a hunch."

He picks up the thing he's working on and waggles it for her to see.

He goes back to work on it, picking up a screwdriver and picking away at it. "Lots I don't get about this place. I hear it makes people weaker, too."
