She felt his fingers intertwine through her hair as his palm lightly cupped her cheek. Yuna briefly closed her eyes, leaning against his touch as a little flutter flicker beneath her breastbone. His thumb glide along her jaw and her eyes opened to meet the weight and affection in his gaze. It surprised her. She thought, that after all this time, these feelings would have dulled somehow but they haven't.

If it was possible, it felt even stronger than before. How was that even possible? She had finally accepted that she might never see him again. Two years after his disappearance, she'd been ready to move on but she hadn't wanted too. Tidus will always be her first and he will always be special to her.

She felt it. That flutter. It continued to surprise her.

Yuna had never thought that it'd feel exactly like this.

She smiled back at him, unable to resist the gravity of his grin. He was so cute when he smiled.

Yuna was a little sad when Tidus pulled away and kicked to the surface. She needed to breathe again soon but she hadn't want the happy moment to end. The moment they broke the surface of the water; they weren't alone anymore.

She tugged at his ankle, pulling him under while lifting herself above the water's surface. It wasn't enough to keep him under but enough to catch him off guard. Hopefully he didn't swallow too much chlorinated pool water. Yuna laughed, her mismatched gaze glimmering with warmth and affection. She'd missed him so much.

"Do you remember the last time we were in water like this?"
