That voice is instantly familiar, more familiar than his own really, and Ven spins on the ball of his foot, Chirithy almost being knocked over as he responds to that familiar call. "Aqua!" It's not said with the same emotion (and desperation) that his waking in the grand hall at the Castle had provoked; she's not on the ground, beaten and nearly unconscious, with Vanitas' Keyblade above her heart. Ven has no reason to be concerned for her safety now, not more than he ever is, really, given their calling. But waking alone in a strange place is not something he likes, and for the first face he sees to be one he knows and loves? That's worth more than anything to him.
He meets her dash with one of her own, Chirithy squeaking and toddling along behind him on its much shorter legs, a wide grin splitting his face as he approaches and pulls up just a foot in front of her. He doesn't reach for her in return because it's just not something he's used to, but the relief and happiness he has at seeing her is palpable, especially for someone who knows him as well as she does. "Am I glad to see you!" At that point, Chirithy catches up to him, bypassing its human to jump and cling to Aqua's knee in what works as a hug for the cat-thing, giving a happy chirp that's obviously a reflection of its partner. "What is this place? Why are we here?"
And that smile starts to fade a little back to confusion as he looks around, as if he expected something... "Where's Terra? He wasn't with me when I woke up, he's not with you?"
