"Yeah, I'll stick around." He agrees more mildly, less aggressively, and he takes her by her upper arms to pull her up. At least he's stronger than he looks, and does it with ease.

"I should do it anyway in case they come lookin'. Come on. Am I takin' you to your bed or the couch?"

He slings his arm down to catch her behind the knees, hauling her lanky body up into her arms to carry her to where she wants to go and be put down.
