"You don't seem like a sourpuss," she lets out a halfhearted giggle. Considering the somber mood she's been in, it's actually somewhat impressive she manages it at all. As he moves towards her she tilts her head curiously as a strange feeling pricks at her again. Bad. For a second she wonders if it's coming from him, but quickly she stifles those thoughts. This place is the bad place. Without further hesitation on her part she takes his hand and hops up.
"Okay," and she immediately starts to walk out of the park, still holding onto his hand. "The mood is dark everywhere here. Worse here. But everywhere is getting dark. People should be more worried than they are." Sure, there are plenty of people who do recognize how much they should worry about this place. It seems like there's an equal amount of people who just don't get it though. Or aren't trying to get it. Somewhere it occurs to Arkady that maybe it's just they don't want to get it. Maybe they're normal people and they don't want to think about the big implications of the bad here. Or maybe they're just stupid.
