"Yeah, that's right, I've got food!"

Tidus takes the plate in both hands even, just to further cement the defence he has against potential noogies. But really, it's all fun, the taunt in his voice simply poking, playful. He's glad for this, this distraction from the decor, even with his time together from Yuna. Which was good, great; something they'd get to look back on and joke about how many times his feet got clumsy underneath him, and he'd tease and say it was really her fault for being so distracting.

For now though, it was good to remember he could be... normal. Interact and socialise, have fun, even with the uncertainty that ran through the city and the future. The bold hold of his smile dips, but it's pull is genuine, even when softer, directed at South.

"But thanks — for the advice. I appreciate it, really. And the talk. I..."

He trails off, but laughs quickly after he does, light and short. Whew, he was nearly going to get sentimental there. But she didn't really need to hear more about him than she already has.

"I should get back." He lifts the plate some. "You enjoy yourself too. Maybe don't get too drunk on this mission?" A grin.
