The second Connor finds himself some reprieve from the night he's been unceremoniously thrust into, he beelines for Hank, and Connor won't even pretend he hasn't made damn sure to know exactly where Hank is in that ballroom at any give time to be able to do this. He dodges around a group of people talking, adjusts the bow tie on his tux and virtually materialises next to Hank and...whoever he's talking to, Connor neither knows nor cares.
"Excuse me," but that won't stop him being polite. "I need to borrow Hank, I'll bring him back."
He won't. Unless Hank somehow really wants him to.
"I have...probably about ten minutes," he says, and though Hank can't see half of his face through the ornate gold mask he's wearing, he's still hoping Hank can see the apology on his face. "Dance with me."
